We were using the JCEditor in place of Joomla’s TinyMCE editor. It works well for most tasks but did not work well with bulleted lists. One of the main problems was that you can’t see the bullets in the editing screen.
We added the CKEditor to our installation. While that editor seems to have somewhat less in the way of functions, it handles bulleted lists much better.
