I had a case where a client had a fairly complicated Returns policy in two different places on their website. Rather than compare it word for word, I searched online for Compare text online. I found a site called http://www.textdiff.com/ that did a great job of comparing the two paragraphs.
Microsoft Word will also allow you to compare documents. The MS knowledgbase article at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306484 will give you directions on how to do that. Other word processors may also have this ability.
