I have a netbook running Window XP. I was in a remote location using my Sprint Aircard with the Sprint Smartview software. My battery was dying on my Samsung Saga Phone so I tried my iGo charger. The problem was that the rechargeble batteries I had just purchased were not charged. I plugged the Saga into my netbook using the sync cable (which provides a charge)
I then noticed that my aircard was not connecting giving me a message that “Duplicate connections are not allowed” . I didn’t realize that the problem was that I also had the phone attached. I tried rebooting the netbook but still got the same connection error. Then I realized that the problem might be that the phone was establishing some sort of connection.
I disconnected the phone, and, sure enough, the aircard worked fine. Problem solved (except for the low battery level. ) I have to make a decision now – Internet or Phone charging, at least until I can get a decent set of batteries for the igo Charger.
