I’m going a little crazy. I needed to install a sitemap generator to create google and Yahoo xml sitemaps on my vista machine running home premium and .net 3.5 sp1.
I’m not just looking for shareware but would be willing to go 50 to 100 bucks or to.
The problem is that every app I have tried to install keeps telling me it needs .net 1.1.4432. When I try to install it, the install fails. I keep ending up with .net 3.5 sp1
So, it appears that the sitemap app folks have not caught up with the latest .net running on vista and that things are not backward compatible.
For now, I can go back to an old XP machine to build the sitemaps but I’m looking for a solution for my Vista Laptop.
I would appreciate any thoughts on this one.
