I had a client who, for various reasons, is still using AOL. He got a new machine and we loaded AOL 9 on it. He had some issues with 9 and wanted to go back to AOL 8. The problem is that, on the AOL site, the only version offered were AOL 9 and AOL Desktop 10.
I did some searching around and found a site called www.oldversion.com. There you can find old versions of various communications programs such as AOL, Eudora and more as well as graphics and multimedia applications such as quicktime.
It is a handy resource for those times when someone just has to have AOL 8.
